March 13: Washington, DC and March 22: Frederick, Md

Ever wonder wat it would be like to meet a real celebrity?  How about royalty?  How about this month?

Christine Trent and her alter ego, Marie Antoinette (appropriately attired in a pre-French Revolution gown and wig), will share the podium when Christine presents a talk about her historical fiction novel “The Queen’s Dollmaker” at two library programs in March.  This first novel tells the tale of Claudette Laurent, a young woman of Anglo-French heritage who establishes herself as a dollmaker in London and is commissioned to make dolls for Queen Marie-Antoinette and her friends.  To get a glimpse of Christine aka Marie Antoinette, please visit Christine’s web site and click on “NEWS.”
