Joyce Lamb started writing as a teenager, plunking her dad's electric typewriter on her bedroom floor and pounding away at it in her jammies. She didn't know she was writing romantic suspense at the time, but she sure was having fun. She continued having writing fun through college and while embarking on her career as a journalist, when she finally got around to trying to get published. Her second novel, Caught in the Act, was a 2004 Rita finalist in the romantic suspense category. She's happy to have mixed some paranormal with romantic suspense in her True trilogy (Truelogy!) from Berkley Sensation. Joyce has lived in the Washington, D.C., metro area since 1998.
