Carlene Love Flores has spent the last 17 years following around her travelling soldier and thinking up stories to keep her company during hubby’s training and deployments. In 2008, she finally decided to try her hand at writing all that edgy contemporary romance down! It’s been as exciting a journey as she could ever have imagined. In real life, she has done everything from working in a Colorado medical laboratory to decorating cakes in Germany, and has even tried her hand at Little League umpiring and Science Olympiad coaching. But these days, she has a passionate fascination for writing the darker side of love stories. Carlene feels honored to be a member of WRW and currently lives in Virginia with her travelling soldier and their son along with a pug, a black cat, and two piggies.
