Booklist called Joyce Lamb's first novel, Relative Strangers, “a rollicking ride full of blazing passion, non-stop suspense and heart-pounding action,” which is very much like Joyce’s real life. For her second novel, Caught in the Act, a 2004 RITA finalist for romantic suspense, Joyce drew extensively from her experience as a journalist . . . except for the parts about murder and mayhem . . . well, except for the parts about murder. Her third novel, Found Wanting, is on shelves now, and she's furiously working on her next. In her spare time, Joyce is an editor at USA Today.   #
image Shara Lanel http://www.sharalanel.com

Shara Lanel began seriously pursuing romance writing and publication several years ago, first by joining Romance Writers of America, followed by several RWA chapters, such as Washington Romance Writers, Virginia Romance Writers, and Kiss of Death. And finally in July 2004, she sold her first novel to Liquid Silver Books: Enlightened Love (now available in trade paperback). Since then, she’s sold a novella and short story to Liquid Silver, and two short stories to HeatWave Romance. Recently, Shara participated in her local Citizens' Police Academy, and had a blast shooting at things, meeting sexy SWAT guys, and riding around in cop cars during high speed chases. All in the name of research for her books, of course. She lives in Richmond, Virginia with her husband, son, and ancient cocker spaniel. When she's not writing, she's killing her chile plants, setting fires in her oven, and avoiding housework at all costs. (Photo by Jennifer Berry/Studio 16.)  #
