image Glenda Garland http://www.glendagarland.com

At 14, Glenda Garland started writing what she had learned at her engineer father’s knee: science fiction. Her first space opera still brings tears to her eyes. It’s the nostalgia as much as how bad it is, you see. Fortunately she also discovered Jane Austen and Agatha Christie, and is now the author of five Zebra Regency romances with mystery and intrigue, including the most recent, A Delightful Folly (3/05), which earned a Romantic Times’ Top Pick. Her next Regency, In Pursuit of a Proper Husband, is out in July, 2005. Since Glenda and her family have lived all over the country, she has belonged to many RWA chapters; you can believe her when she says WRW has a wonderful focus on craft and professionalism.   #

image Treva Harte http://www.trevaharte.com

Treva Harte claims taking care of the family's neurotic miniature dachshund and raising prepubescent kids is a full time job itself, but in addition she works as an attorney in a city with many other attorneys. She is also co-owner and Editor-in-Chief of the e-publishing company Loose Id. She and her husband both like writing in whatever time they have left, so they often fight over—sorry, since they are attorneys they negotiate—keyboard time. No wonder Treva’s particular brand of sensual romance is a bit offbeat and usually mixed with fantasy. Treva is multi-published with several e-publishers, a member of WRW, RWA, and PAN and winner of the CAPA 2003 award in the “Erotic Fantasy Romance” category.  #
